like the pearl/abalone dots? Thin super glue works good for them. You can get that anywhere...almost |

I second the superglue. Used to get stewmac's, but any will do, really. |

I use the superglue as well. Just put the dot in the hole, wick some superglue in around it, any you be done. |

I also use super glue, the very thin stuff, BUT you can also use plain elmers glue or wood glue works fine too. |

I use duco or super glue on plastic and elmers on pearl. Depends what is closer to my hand at the time john hall |

Here's my method when I install plastic styrene rod type markers: Get an empty pop (or soda can depending from which part of the country you hail from), rinse it out and invert the can on your bench so the bottom [dish side] is facing up. Put a drop of CA on the can bottom and dip your fret marker rod into the glue. Insert the rod into the [pre drilled] hole and cut it off with side cuts. Repeat until you are done. Spritz with accelerator or let CA dry on its own. Level dot stubs with a file and sand smooth. |
